Yes, we are still alive and well. It's been really busy. The start of the school year, a bachelorette party in Vegas, a wedding in Palm Springs, searching for a new place (we move on Saturday), lots of doctor's appointments (it's a boy due Feb. 18th), visits from family, and general day to day life with an active 2 and 1/2 year old! The latest hurdle was all 3 of us getting sick at the same time. Annika first, then Steve, then me (yesterday was an overlap day - not fun) and thankfully we are all feeling much better today.
Annika continues to entertain us with her imagination and impressive memory. She now knows the names of all of her letters (upper case) and numbers to 9, can hold regular conversations and tells me about her day. She still loves Dora, her dollhouse, tiny family, and playing with her play food. We are hoping the transition to the new house goes smoothly. We are also moving her to a "big girl bed" so we are hoping she will actually stay in it and keep napping and sleeping as usual. Wish us luck!
